Does the starter really use a 24V system? I always assumed the batteries were in parallel at 12V
They are 12V. The two batteries are for more amperage. Only the military Chevy/GMCs were 24V, unless there's something special that I don't know about.
It was a kind of cool video. It didn't take me long to think "wherever that's at sure gets A LOT more rain that we do here". The engine also may not be any good. There was a black spot on the air cleaner lid that looked like a rust hole to me.

He says it's in Bernardston, Mass within the first 4 seconds of the video. LOL ;Poke Though he talks so fast I had to google it like 3 times to spell it right...

48-52 inches of rain per year and 55 inches of snow!

12V, not 24V. And the blanked off vent he's pointing to is where the clock/calendar/trip timer would be, not where the AC vents would be. Otherwise, not a bad review.

Anyone else notice the ether port on the intake duct?

Steve is not a truck guy the reams of knowledge he has on hot rod/ street machines is right up there with freiburgers...
