How to attach lugnut caps?

These pesky little lugnut caps aren't wanting to stay on. How do you fix it, i see little dents like from a punch, is that how? They are metal, not plastic.

Yep the little dent is what's supposed to hold them. Might be able to dent them them with another punch or like catbird7 said a dab of silicone..

Pair o' Channel Locks...just give 's a little squeeze (you don't need much) on the dimple sides. They're a friction fit.
