I would much rather purchase a used kit truth be known, but there are zero point zero out there for sale here lately. However, all the ones I've seen previously on CL and eBay top out at less than half of the lower end of a new banks kit, and some have been sold for mid three figures. Not sure...- mccall52

I'm not trying to set any records necessarily, so I consider a good used kit a great option. I was honestly hoping for an 093, but I'll research the 088 a bit more. Consider me interested.- mccall52

Thanks for the prompt responses. I wasn't aware of the transmission module included with the turbo kit. If it's not critical, I consider that a good thing. I did do a full installation of the Tugger kit while I was repairing my transmission. Interested in hearing more about the up and down...- mccall52

Another update. From last weekend actually (still haven't done the duralift conversion). After a bit of cranking, it started up and ran fine. I figured it has to be air intrusion. Occasional stalling and hard starts
The rear tank is full, the front tank is at 3/4. I haven't had it run out on me, but I became one with the '1/4 tank means empty' one day when I made a turn and it started sputtering quite loudly. The previous owner said something about the gauge doesn't work around 1/4. :rolleyes:- mccall52

Just did a couple cycles of cranking, nothing is coming out of the schraeder valve. Looks like it's full speed ahead on the duralift conversion! Time for an update. Truck won't start now. Had to leave for work, took another car. Made a 200 mile weekend run just fine. Got in this morning to drive to work, almost ran but decided instead to make some unusual clattering noises, now it just turns over with no inclination of running...- mccall52

Not sure how many miles are on pump and injectors. I'm going to assume well over 100k, I understand that is their expected service life. I just made a highway run yesterday and it performed well. How Worried Should I Be?
I had four of each in mine until recently. Installing eight new Motorcrafts highlighted the deficiencies of my glow controller. So it got replaced with Motorcraft as well.- mccall52
