    NOTE... Most Fords (not all), have the drain in the TC.

    What to do when the water drain plug strips?

    Drill and tap for 1/8 NPT (use some sort of sucker or vac to remove shavings if there are any), install a 90 elbow and a brass pit-**** style drain valve. Have done a few of these with no problems.

    Isn't nitrous ALOT different on deisel compared to a gas engine? I know what is added on gas with nitrous.... more fuel is added due to the nitrous cooling the incoming air.... more cool air, more fuel needed.     block heater plug?

    I beleive the heater is on the right front of the engine, near the front of the motor mount. Crawl under, find that and follow it forward. It's usually tied up behind the right side of the front bumper near the frame rail.

    dexcool?

    I have also replaced many 6-8 cylinder intake gaskets on the GM cars and trucks. I've never associated the problem with Dex-cool.... but the poor design of the intake gasket itself. There have been ALOT of V-8 intake leaks BEFORE the switch to Dex-cool.

    dead truck ???

    Try unplugging the electric fan..... a bad fan will cause a no crank/no start problem.
