I drove my truck yesterday and fell into idi love lol missed this motor, today I'm going thru the glow plugs to fix that problem. If it's the controller I'll make a Manuel setup. So guess what guys she runs! I just fired her up after charging battery's I had to use the smallest squirt of starring fluid I could ( I suspect glow plugs) and not to worry I stood about three feet away and did a half second burst. Not trying to ruin hard work with the starting juice lol but...- Greenmachine

Supercharging?
Thanks you guys very much I'll keep this blower for the "future" haha! But I'll Probally turbo my idi if I every do decide I need more power. So I went to the auto yard today, I needed a vacum pump and fender core support. I got those and found out what the what the square plug goes too. It looks like a vacuum sensor very small black box. Ya I figured out one is a headlight plug mainly becuase I found another on the other side lol felt pretty silly about that, heres another pic of the square plug and were it is attached, the single wire is red- Greenmachine

Alright getting close just a few things left. But I need some help guys!?? First will the nitrile orings work? I see, I was checking out you build seemed like the sc was a hair small but still sweet application. I love taking on a challenge and just happen to have this MASSIVE supercharger at my disposal. What does no bypass mean??- Greenmachine

Tonight's progress , tested injectors, new o rings . Will the nitrile ones work? If not what should I get??. Put the motor in and hood back on. Tomaro going to start hooking things up like exshuast wiring harness fuel lines , if I get far enuff I'll bleed the injectors and maybe start her up- Greenmachine

Supercharging?
So I'm a littel curious about supercharging 6.9 or 7.3s, has anyone done it ? What are the pros and cons, Iv seen alot of turbo setups but nothin really with supercharging. Would the power band be more level with a supercharger than a turbo? Thanks! ( the pic is mine)- Greenmachine

So it looks like this weekend I'm going to try and get the engine in? Anyone have an do and and donts for installing, I change basic small block chevy engine before but not a 6.9, I will start Saturday night or Friday night and post pics if this slow Alaska wifi lets me!- Greenmachine

We'll I did not get to the injectors today, but I did bolt on the alternator . Changing the pulleys was a bit harder than I thought lol also installed the bullet style glow plugs and temp fixed my power steering. After the injectors I'll be ready to put her in( the pic is before I started on...- Greenmachine
