Reminds me of Bigfoot the monster truck with that paint

I installed a used copper washer and got 30PSI on cylinder 7 again, around 15 cycles this time.
Would a truck with a cylinder this dead still run well and sound good? I towed an Audi last month and besides the smoke on startup it ran and sounded amazing
I’m going to install my new injectors...
Here’s the video of cylinder #5, as you can see the gauge is very bouncy as loses pressure on the first few cycles. If you’re looking for anything more accurate than “yes there’s pressure” I’d go with a different tool or at minimum replace the gauge, the hoses and adapters are pretty nice.
I have little faith in the tester, it’s the expensive harbor freight one (Maddox brand) First one stripped threads on me and the second one has a questionable gauge so +/- 5-10 psi of inaccuracy wouldn't surprise me. I was mainly looking to see if a dead cylinder was causing my startup smoke...
Did a compression test today and everything was going great until I got to #7, suddenly I had 10PSI. Looking closer, the injector was spurting diesel out of the injector threads so I took it out and there’s no copper washer. Hopefully that’s the issue and I can get compression back (fingers...
Finally pulled the plug and ordered injectors from Russ, 7" timing tape, and some O-rings for the FSV shower heads. Hopefully this will be the end of my white smoke @ cold start, hoping to go camping with my boat soon and don't want to smoke out the campgrounds
Anyone know where I can get new...

I offered 45 and he countered $52 which I took, it’s a good savings compared to a lot of other listings. Free shipping
I had to use my bench grinder to take down the probe to get it to fit. It also seems to be tricky to get it to work correctly, mine won’t work and I believe @TNBrett is having trouble getting his to work.
An alternative is a 7” timing tape on the harmonic balancer and using a normal timing...
Finally managed to find his setup hidden in a old thread, seems like a good mod regardless of air intrusion issues

Hello,
I've been chasing my air intrusion issue lately and have grown tired of cranking for 5 mins and fogging out my entire street every time I start the truck.
I am considering installing either a 40222 or the cube style 40109 as a way to prime my fuel system before starting the truck...
Update:
Do NOT use a generic female spade connector for this. Get a new connector or cannibalize the old one
Last night on the highway my spade connector wiggled itself just loose enough to cut off fuel without falling off. It was a simple fix but standing on the highway really sucks
Hello
I’ve been having some electrical issues and narrowed it down to the voltage regulator. I think everything is fixed, but I already had to warranty my batteries once from this issue and want to make sure I won’t end up with another $200 battery bill.
I’ve got all the tools I’m just not...
Did you ever figure your timing light out?
I knocked down the magnetic probe today and got it positioned correctly and had a new issue, the meter is reading 0 no matter what, the RPM gauge was a scrolling 0 from right to left. I also repositioned and re sanded my injector line. I think timing...
