    Ya I was looking at that one... I just want to make sure the threads will fit on my 89 idi.... I didn't specify because of the forum but now that I think of it I don't want to risk it.... so if I get that filter but am only running 9.4 liters will that be an issue?

    I am looking for an oil filter, here at Walmart they're only 10 bucks but it is the ph3786 which is for the Powerstroke the filter I need is ph3766 will this filter work anyways?

    So Jack it up and spin it with my hands? Also the passenger hub is cover in a kind of oil/grease.. I think maybe it is locked would that cause said symptoms? How would I free it?....regrease it?

    So I'm hoping that's right, however do you think that is possible despite the fact the symptom is practically only noticeable in fifth gear I may slightly notice it lower gears but I can be going 40 in 5th and notice it clearly
