Need help fast!
There is a motor up here by me Salt lake area. The guy has a 6.9 with a bad clutch. I am going to buy the transmission but I think he only wants 750 for the whole truck. HELP? Oil everywhere.
Its easy. Just messy and ******* the temper. I was shopping for a new motor when the guys here lead me to the oil cooler. I did this two months ago. ZF5 Diesel adaptor
I am looking to either purchase or use (ill pay for shipping to and from) a diesel adaptor for a zf 5 speed. I would like to have my 460 trans drilled before removing my old one. 96" S&S motor. Revtech 5 speed trans. 180 rear. Frame is an aftermarket with a bit of a stretch. About the only thing harley on it is the forks wheels and tanks. These the correct oil cooler O-rings???
Napa didnt have anything locally for me. The gaskets I got the first time around from ford for about 11 bucks each (one gasket ripped). They were 3 bucks for the whole kit (felpro) from Vato zone. The o-rings I got from Ford for 30 bucks for all four.- bignastystacks

That would probably do it. When I started this i was only trying to get rid of that plastic flexy bend on the intake duct so I had just planned on keeping the ats box. Turned into what it is now. I dont think theres room to do a cowl intake on my truck. The clutch master ect takes up alot of the room on my firewall. You can kind of see it in the picture. Radiator full of oil...still runs like normal???
Cooler is rebuilt. The o-rings weren't even rubber any more. Brittle and hard as a rock. I didnt have to cut them off they just fell apart when I touched them. Cleaned the cooler and header mounts with carb cleaner and a wire brush. I used small floor jack with a folded towel on the plate and...- bignastystacks

Radiator full of oil...still runs like normal???
What about just the radiator for the dish soap. Obviously the majority of the oil collected inside. I was thinking I could unhook the radiator from the motor completely and fill it with Dawn Then run HOT water from my water heater out to flush the radiator??? maybe run it from the top down and...- bignastystacks

I was just thinking also... since my radiator has a large amount of oil in it now rather that pushing that through the motor I think I will remove all hoses from the radiator and flush it seperately before running through the flush procedure mentioned by you guys.- bignastystacks
