    is this a grounding issue?

    I would check the amp output from your alternator. Do you have any extra electrical items like e fans? My dads car does that every time the fan kicks on while driving. Drives me nuts also

    I am going to highly suggest getting a new gasket. When I worked in a factory installing heads on 7.3 DI if we had to remove the head for any reason once we started the torque sequence we replaced the head gasket. $34 is a cheap piece if mind to not have your truck go down soon after getting it...

    I don't see why it couldn't not be done. If you went and totally replaced the leafs with bags and added radius arms it should work.
