bad oil leak at rear seal?
just put rebuilt motor back into 01 zf6 truck and truck runs great and when cold doesnt leak a drop but after it warms up it is a small steady dribble/stream pouring out from rear main area and is not coming down from valley. has anyone ever seen one not leak cold and then leak perfusely after...- 06cumminspower

check valve fitting for fuel inlet on cylinder head
ok, so I have been trying to get this 01 back together and got it cranked but only running on passenger side so I unplug oil rail and is shooting out and then crack fuel line running from filter into driverside head and is getting plenty of fuel. however I was curious about the fitting inbetween...- 06cumminspower

holly crap, I looked at your thread and this is all making my head want to explode! didn't know that hpop gaskets were different and pickup tubes and all that! I am guessing from what I understand pickup tubes are fine either way? all I need to know is will the gen 3 (1997) cover and reservoir...- 06cumminspower

well I googled part number on timing cover which was told to be off of a 02 e350 ended up being a gen3 (1997) cover and the seal with steel plate and screen must have cracked it. so if I can repair it I at least know what I got and need. but I am still unsure on reservoir cover the one off of...- 06cumminspower

ok, so long story short just put motor back to gether in truck which is in a 01 superduty, short block out of 97, anyways I wasted the timing cover by putting center part of oil pump in backwards and crank balanced rubbed it into front cover real bad (didn't have dampner printed on this one and...- 06cumminspower

got a obs I am parting out and get a lot of questions pertaining to IDIs about it. but for my own sanity I am also curious. as far as I know the displacement is the only thing the same bit are crankshafts and rods interchangeable? also what about powerstroke ex manifolds? if they can bolt to IDI...- 06cumminspower

it's for auto but I assume if you can cut and weld you may could adapt pipes to fit but not a IDI guru someone else may know better.- 06cumminspower
