With the mileage on the idi, I'd treat it as a core. Turbo engines have a nasty habit of pistons cracking around the larger wrist pin area and can window blocks.
Cummins engine with that mileage in this area still runs around the $1500 mark. Turbo idi engine with that mileage is around the $500 mark.
