IP Jumpered to battery

To good to be true. The problem is back. So I took icanfixitall advice and jump IP direct to battery (thru a switch) drove truck twice yesterday. If it is the wire, what is in between the IP and ignition switch ?

There's a fusible link that's been known to go bad.

Mine was intermittent until one day it finally quit.
