I saw one of those burn up a few years ago. It didnt catch on fire but it melted down pretty good. I suppose I should check to see if my truck is covered before it catches on fire... it could cause thousands of $ in improvements.

Just disconnect the wire if you have one.

they put a fuse inline with the brake switch. my 94 crown vic, 94 f350, 2000 f550 and my old 99 expedition all had it. takes them about 15 mins to do.
