the motor needs set back or you need a big body lift measure to the front of fire wall and see how close it is red to firewall then see if engine will fit my cj5 it didnt and they have same front iirc

what year CJ-5 do you have they added 3-4" to the front end in 76

Was that the one with the Jeep body sitting on a Ford frame? And I use the term "sitting" VERY loosely since the body was barely connected to anything!

Well after deer season I may pull both engines and give it a real good look.
