How about some fuel line, extra plastic injector return fittings and hose, superglue, fuses (surely you have those though), glow plug/starter relay. I also carry two lug wrenches. 1 factory, and the faster, more convenient X-style. Though my x-style lug wrench is well made, I'm scared that if the weld ever breaks, I'm in trouble.

um. the kitchen sink? an M1 tank? some deuce and a half wheels and tires? (for incase a convoy is broke down). Throw the fix a flat out or you will **** the tire guys off who fix your flat. and all i can say is. That must be a damn big toolbox.

A compass, maps, matches or a lighter and toilet paper.

This is getting interesting! You are getting close to my neck of the woods!

I like the part that goes bang. I always have my 586 under my seat, not in my tool box, and enough ammo not too far. And of course survival knife and my Army machete.:backoff

You are right about the wife. :yell:

Headlight switch is on the list. Good call on the fuel pump, I forgot to put that on the list but there is an extra pump in there somewhere near the bottom. ;Sweet

Some excellant ideas, like plastic injector pieces. I have o-rings in there. Hand cleaner and rags is a big one I forgot.

I will need some fuel line and clamps.

I cannot believe I forgot fuses and bulbs. And a relay.

Toilet paper. Whoa, might need that.

A medkit! Thanks, gotta get that. Well I got duct tape. :dunno

Air bed, pillow, blanket, tent, some extra clothing and a wind-up/batteries radio with weather band.

You said "remote areas or extended journey", right?

Bailing Wire, 1 can of chew at least half full for emergency radiator repair.

How about a block of wood for blocking the air intake in case of a engine runaway.
