permission granted ..think it was vandalism because we had just kicked some people out of are house 3 hours earlier for fighting .and there was a unfamiliar jar that looked like poosibly plumbers pipe glue which is highly flammable ..and as for internal rage this is just the icing on the cake i just got laid off from work last week

1) if you noticed, this was a very hot fire. the aluminum survival is extremely questionable.

Aluminum starts getting gooey around 1225 degrees. Then it starts to drip and run... Then it just vanishes from where you last saw it... Really funny stuff to weld to... I can tig weld it but... You need to preheat it and no oils or crap can be in the welds.... Done right it looks great... Done wrong and the weld will look like a bird had the runs all over the place.....

Yup it was a hot one, there was a can of ether in the cab when it went up. I bet that was some fireball. I know the air box on the turbo was damaged on the fire for sure. I really don't know about the rest beyond the cast iron pipes which are fine. I will know more when I take it apart. Obviously only a parts truck, but it has some good stuff left on it for sure. At this point I do not plan on selling anything off of it. I need it for my junk really. If I do part anything from it, I will post.

sorry to see that. i've heard of a few idis catching fire but i dont know which component causes it. i have a fire extinguisher in mine but that wont help if im not in it when it goes up
