I got mine used for 10 bux. Is on pretty nice shape. I ordered a new light kit (gonna LED it), and mounting kit.

I just gotta git a round tuit and I'll be set.

The summit visor looks like CHIT. But you choices are limited now that LUND got bought out by KEYSTONE and they are no longer making visors. The only ones left are ones in warehouses.

To the OP the LUND visor clears the factory cab lights.

As for noises coming from visor? I have only heard noises coming from loose or incorectly installed visors. Even at 100+ MPH

The Summit visor just doesn't have the classic stylish look captured by the LUND, and may not be made as strong.

One option, if one is or knows someone who is adept with fiberglass, is to use the Summit as a base to make it look more like the LUND, adding strength while doing so.

Or, use the Summit that is made to fit your truck and graft the LUND characteristics onto it from a swap-meet/junk-yard LUND that was made to fit a different truck.

Had I have read this prior to last Sunday, I would have grabbed up the two perfect-looking LUNDs that I saw at the Stone's River swap-meet; had they of fit my trucks, I would have got them anyway.

They fit the little Rangers of our vintage and looked to be the same except shorter; the guy finally offered me them for five-bucks the pair, but I left them laying.

I love the look of the classic Lund Moon Visor (NLA) That's why I had to buy a used one. It took a coupla mo's of research and emailing to finally get the NEW wiring, and mounting kit. I was more concerned with getting the Lund screw caps than anything.

I know You can buy screw caps, but the ones Lund supplies are kind of unique.

I love visors! Do some searching, I bought a used Lund for my F150 for $20 at the local junkyard. I painted it and was going to put it on, but I realized I didn't quite have the right shade of blue.

I bought mine for $25 on CL. Didn't know they are stopping production.

The visors are pretty common around here, but whats getting hard to find are the racer-backs. Those would be cool on the right truck.

What are you guys calling "racer backs" ??

Is it the fairing that goes on the bed where a tool-box would normally be ??

I do have a cab spoiler that I had to take to get a like-new visor in the deal. ;Sweet

Visor is tight on the cab, installed correctly as far as I can see. But, on a second thought, I do have a mag-mount CB antenna on the roof skin, could be it is making the rattling-whistling noise, and not the visor... Heck if I know, but you're correct Brad, even with the foot on the floor and running against the governor the visor don't make any sounds, it's only when the cross-wind picks up good that the ghosts come out.

Do You have a SCab, Crew? Rack?

I know My Rack causes enough wind turbulence on that huge piece of sheet metal We call a roof, to get it vibrating like mad. It's almost unbearable at times. I'm actually hoping the Moon Visor will help!

The last two OBS trucks I've owned have had Lund visors on them, and the only time they made any noise, was when I had a bug shield/deflector on the hood. Took the deflectors off and all noise went away, and my mirrors quit shaking at high speeds.
