As factory-wired on my 1985 F-350, does everything that requires IGNITION ON have it's power fed through the key-switch ??
Is any of it relayed from the factory ??
Just a short list of what I can quickly think of that only operates with IGNITION ON :
Blower motor.
A/C clutch-switch.
Wipers/washers.
Gauges.
Radio.
C.B.radio.
Electric fuel-tank selector.
Engine RUN solenoid.
Glow-plug relay.
Fuel heater.
Power windows, if you have them (I don't
).
Turn Signals(I just remembered)
I am sure I am missing some.
I am considering putting the load of most of this stuff on relays.
Has anyone else RELAYED any of this stuff and how did you go about it ?? (Get technical.
)
Thanks.
