Thats right, my 93 that was rotting in a field 6 months ago is gonna get a job! Its a short cab, and in new york passengers are allowed in the fifth wheel trailer, that leaves the teenagers and dog in the back, and me and the old lady cruise like old times. Figuring 14,000 pounds maxish?

My opinion on this is a little different. With they way that teenagers are completely glued to their phones these days, how would "they" even be able to tell if there's any in the camper?

Just read, some of the new campers im looking at are only 8000 lb’s

That heavy still? Or are they pretty big?

I have a 28' I'll be picking up that's only 6000 and it's 30 years old!

Unless you're talking GVWR...

My 34 food fire ball weighs in at 9k empty fill it will water and food grab the generator and some needed things it all adds up also something to think about is the smell of exhaust my wife rode in the camper one time for like 50 miles then called me because it smelled like exhaust so bad in the trailer also there is a slight black drift on the pass side of the camper I wash off a few times a year

Hauled 10,000 pounds with my 92 N/A a few weeks ago. I made it to where I was going, but you better be prepared to shift down on just about any incline. Love the old truck, but it does make you appreciate the power on these new torque monsters.
