Someone recommended long strand bondo hair so I picked some up, after doing research it appears there are "better options" I've read dynaglass, evercoat fiber tech, etc.

What's the best product that's going to last and how long should I expect it to last?

Found more hidden rust in between the quarter panels and inner wheel wells, hacked all of that out, hacked the lip off (looks better IMO), honestly there's just tons of small holes as pictured that I'm just not going to cut and patch. Planning to wirewheel, por15, and apply whatever seems to be the longest lasting product.

POR makes some kind of paste for filling pinholes. I don't know anything about it but it sounds like it's similar to the POR15 just more of a gel/putty consistency.

I'll look into it but looks like the fibertech is nothing short of a miracle, stuff can be beat on with a hammer and not crack it remains flexible. It's been on the market awhile haven't found anything bad about but there's really not alot of info online.

..and best deal I found was 67 for 1/2 gallon on amazon.. the quart pouch at my local paint and body shop was 57 bux, if you only need a quart of this stuff I think carquest/ advance auto parts would be best with there 20% off promos they send unless you're comfortable buying it from ebay it's like 34 I believe

Sorry I am kinda late to this conversation.

I tried looking up this evercoat fibertech. I couldn't find much on it and the SDS doesn't show up on the manufacturers page. I would worry about it being talc based. Talc will absorb water and continue a rust problem or create one where one didn't exist before. I do a lot of fiberglass repairs and I normally steer clear of the pre-mixed fillers. I use either West System epoxy or I use Polyester Resin and the applicable filler powders to make a filler that is appropriate for the job. This way I can keep track of what is in the fillers.

For what your doing I would use Polyester resin mixed with your chopped glass and some colloidal silica mixed to a peanut butter consistency and then do your filling.

That sounds interesting, will definitely keep this info for the next project (kids vehicles) I've already went with the fibertech, it's getting a solid 3 coats of polyamide epoxy primer then going to raptor line this behemoth top to bottom and inside n out.. if it lasts me long enough to build my 4 boys their first vehicles I'll be happy haha.
