Which coolant to use

Good luck getting those drains out. I've never been able to get it out of any of the motors I've tried it on.
Yup, same here with my engine > so I flush the system till completely clear water is in the block then drain what I can and do the math by adding coolant to the radiator.
PITA not being able to completely drain the block :mad:

Here's the way I locked mine. This way of locking it to the pulley, eliminates the possiblity of the fan unscrewing off the shaft when you stop the engine.

I like it because when puttering around below 2000 rpm in 5th, I don't hear any fan noise at all like I expected. Only when you are over 2000 do you here it roaring a little bit, which should work well when pulling a heavy load in 3rd and 4th gears.

Nice setup, then it's mounted to the flange like the IH fan clutches instead of the ford setup ;Sweet I could have a couple of pieces of flat stock cut to shape and bent like that at my local metal supply to save any weight balance issues on the welds
