Thanks Heath, I feel like it's baby steps the whole way.

Thanks, you are quite right. I have put together a few things here and there but never a project even close to this size. I don't really have anyone to work with or learn from outside of this group. Besides my internet friends most people think I am half crazy (or full crazy) pulling apart a perfectly good working truck to modify.

I think they are missing out lol

As Bill would say, I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Feel like I'm reliving my swap. Haha. Looking good. My mom was shocked I was hooked to the trailer 2 days after it was running again...No time to waste!

Well not much to show but I spent an hour or so wire wheeling and cleaning my transfercase.

I then drilled the frame and final mounted my cross members and lifted the transfercase in and bolted it tight. It's fun wrestling around a 200 lb transfercase under the truck LOL.

One more thing off my long check list.

Since the transfer case is in tight. My awesome wifey went to help me out salvaging some yokes to make some new drive shafts.

In the mean time I dug back into my clutch. After I tacked my activation arm on I realized I have to re work the bracket a bit.

I ended up cutting the bracket back apart and had to cut it down to clear the mounting bolt.

After that I got it worked out and bolted up.

It works! The clutch seems to disengage about right and feels almost the same as my stock clutch. It's been a few months since I have run my truck stock but it feels almost identical in effort.

I am going to add some reinforcement to the bracket and weld it up solid. Another big one off the list. I am loving this warmer weather now!

Two steps forward and one step back. My son decided to play catch with the dog and threw a rock........He got a whole run down on all the wrong in that moment. He was real upset about it, but he will learn a lesson about being in debt. I plan to let him pay me back for the window getting work done around the house.

On a brighter note I am making progress with making a drive shaft. Pics to come, like most of this project I have never done this before. Just giving it a shot!
