sound deadening the ip ?

would it be safe to use something to keep the noise from the ip down?
maybe like a syrofoam box or a spray foam?

you i/p is noisy? think it's time to replace it. mabe you should sound deaden the whole motor.... ;p

Also could be the injectors clacking like a bad valve tape in a wore out gasser. With a looooong screw driver carefuly press the handle to your ear and the other end on each injector then different areas of the IP.
