Excellent, Jon! This part looks vaguely familiar somehow (only been a week and a half!), but don't remember a wire like that. My 2 heavy solid yellow wires are the notorious glow plug controller supply wires, which (of course) fried at the connector long ago. Of course, mine's a '92, so it might be different.

Will check mine when I poke around in the black hole with my light. Been about 80 miles so far.... a good time to see how everything's doing in there.

Yours shouldn't have that connector mine has, mine has the old 6V glow plug system. So i'm gonna need help from the pre 87 guys on that.
