91 zf5 trans fluid all over clutch. I pulled it back away from the engine and it seems to be coming from the input shaft. Can that seal be changed from the out side?

No, I don't think so because one fits over the throw out bearing sleeve and one fits inside the sleeve which is inserted from the inside of the case. Dan
