Electric fans

I know this is not a new issiue just wanted to let you guys know i found a fan set that is a very easy little mod-required install. It is out of a 08 chevy v-6, twin fans one 5 blade 0ne 7 blade. BOLTS TO STOCK FAN SHROUD HOLES......... draws alot of power but they move air sucks lol i took some photos to show you hope it helps someone

and they both have slim motors.that's another plus.
any more info about these,such as CFM ratings etc?
what type of cars for example?

got 'em installed yet?
what you gunna use for controller/switch setup?

yes they are installed right now they are jsut fused and come on with key but i am going to wire them seprate took about 1 hr to install with out talking to someone about what to trim. they are off 08 chevy truck with v6

they look and fit great man! nice job.
did you upgrade,or have plans to; the 3g alternator?

Would a mod like this drawn too much power from an 6.9 alternator? Might be a fun project for me...

I think the 3G swap has been discussed before...time for me to do a search.

i do want to do the 3G upgrade. i have a lot of eletronics ie raidos GPS invertor, lights

any half ton 99 and up chev/gmc with a 4.8 will have fans like that and sould work great i intalled a set in a v8 astro and worked great even wired one to come on when the ac clutch engaged
