Yes, It is a 7.3 PSD, so I guess it is a mechanical pump & if it's mechanical I'm assuming no inertial shutoff - no real need to have one. It is odd that the site I found on line listed a inertia switch for a F250 PSD with a electric fuel pump - there mistake I'm sure. Thank you, Del- FlySAR

PSD! According to one of the parts sites it has an electric fuel pump and an inertia shut off; I don't know, I drive an 87' 6.9. Just fishing for ideas why it just quit & this was just one more option, maybe; tough to troubleshoot when you're thousand miles away. Del- FlySAR

I have not checked the timing - I'm debating the cost of buying a pulse adapter as mentioned on this site or taking it to a shop. I know that could be the culprit & it is certainly the easiest next step but I figured because I hadn't adjusted it during the swap it should be fine - poor...- FlySAR

Revisiting issue regarding lack of power Recap - Donor truck swap of non turbo 6.9 that was in a 86' F250 w/ a T-19 into my 87' F350 C6 that had a 6.9 that blew a head gasket. The injectors are stamped with a "B" does it matter much which letter is on them? I know very little about about stamp codes, except from what I've read here, and I guess the most important thing is that all 8 match & avoid the "G", is that right? I Live in North Bend, OR. Del- FlySAR

6.9 Swap is Done! - Where's the Power?
I believe the Smoke is Blue/Black; I'm going to have my son drive it and I'll follow - better than looking in the side mirrors. Pump was not removed or adjusted and had about 80,000 (replaced when motor was rebuilt) or so the previous owner said - he only had the truck for a couple of months...- FlySAR

I may have bumped the IP in the swap, the adjustment screw wire is still in place - would I have to make adjustments for a manual-to-auto swap? If it's running rich I assume I'd lack power.
