Finally made it to my first old iron show.

And I just found a guy about 2mi from the farm with a 20-25hp for sale in his front yard along with a bunch of 3-10hp engines. My heirs are so screwed. LOL
If things go smoothly tomorrow morning I'm on my way to pick up this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270268418532&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=017 :peelout
Building a sound control room at the shop with a "ground" muffler right out side and indoor/outdoor radiator...
I decided to run the camera while I replaced the ball joints on my D44 axle. The press tool procedure is the same on my 2WD F350. It's a '78 Bronco axle under my Toyota. ;Really

Helpful?
Edit: Oops, guess I was a little sleepy when I posted...
So I changed from 3.55s to 4.10s and I was at the dealer trying to get the right speedo gear(s) to correct my readings. I've been staring at thier computer screen trying to sort it all out and getting more lost.
Do I need to change both gears? She asked about the gear color, is there a source...
I think not having a bed is causing me to get some backwash from the exaust at lower speeds. I would like to try a stack. Probably hit the truck supply tomorrow but I'm kinda lost on how it's done. Are there kits? Just want 1 3"er to get the job done. :hail
From what I read the '93-up with the redesigned pinion and yoke has an oil slinger. My master install kit from Randys did not include one. The parts guy at Ford just couldn't help me without a tag# off the diff. Well my tag is long gone and I don't see what good it would do me if I'm using...
So I got a nice heavy box from Randys.
And I dive in for some large american fun. :D
Then I found someone got a little wild with the hammer and punch. -cuss
The pic does it no justice and I already started cleaning it up some. The burrs were so bad...
My 350 sits in the side yard most of the time and at the most gets used twice a month. Every time I fire it up the "water in fuel" light comes on and I drain a good amount of water out of the filter. I keep the tanks full to help prevent condensation. Is diesel hydroscopic like brake fluid or...
Looking for a supplier for this kind of stuff. Maybe someone makes a "complete kit"??
Did you know: if the drivers side cowl drain clogs it will hold over a gallon of water and pee it on your feet in left turns. LOL
Anybody know where to buy the black plastic tube in bulk that Ford uses for fuel lines to the tanks? I need to extend the rear tank lines and repair the return line at the engine. I've found fittings with no problem. Maybe somebody parting one out will sell them to me?
So here's the line from the filter to the IP. The parts of the fittings still on the pump and filter housing are compression style. But then they have this stuff:
So the rubber works like a ferrule? What do I need to seal this back up correctly? Just looks all wrong to me. Or should I...
Decided to resume the attack on the neverending list. What was the hole the P/O so carefully sealed off? :rotflmao
Am I missing something or is this M/C scabbed off something different? (that wouldn't surprise me with this truck) It is a hole molded in for something but...
