    Confirmation of a crap idea.

    Truck 7.3IDI Turbo, ZF5, NP205, 10.25 Rear, Dana 60 Front. Idea Pivot brakes, with limited slip. How bad of an idea is this? Need confirmation that I'm an idiot and it will just burn up the clutches in the diff, or that it will work.

    Just pondering here, but if someone were to install a PSD turbo on an IDI, in theory they could hook the EBPV up to the cold idle and cold timing advance circuit, and it should help it warm up faster, right?     Got another stupid axle question.

    If I take the carrier out to weld the spiders or replace the clutches (I'm not sure if my new axle has LS or is open) can I just bolt it back in or do I have to set the backlash and such. Or is this a job best left to professionals?

    10.25 Pinion Nut Questions
