I screwed up, now no start.

Right on! Your right about hard to see the shaft. I didn't know you could remove the vane pump that easy. No hard feels meant!

I screwed up, now no start.

Right, but if the main shaft is broken from the steel parts expanding faster than the alum case from the hot wvo contacting the steel parts first; the IP is toast and time for a new IP. For me, removing the fuel screw cover, the little triangle cover on the passenger side of the pump is easier...

Agreed about fuel, but sense he can't get fuel from the hard lines it sounds like the main shaft is broke and not pumping/ injecting fuel to the injectors?

I screwed up, now no start.

On the passenger side of the IP there is a triangle shaped cover, under it is the main shaft & rotor. take the top bolt for the cover out & loosen the bottom to move the cover out of the way. Some fuel will spill, have a friend turn the engine over with the starter, & if the main shaft doesn't...

All the F-superdutys that I have seen from this truck's era had leafs springs, if there ones with coils, I'd love to see pics, because coils ride better. thanks Jason

    Which 3G alternator?

I don't know if it will help but, I have a 95 taurus alt on mine. 8.25" case, was a sepentine belt on the car. I removed the pulley & ground the 3 ribs down some so that the v-pulley would clear. I think the difference is the lenght of the rotor shaft but don't hold me to it. Best upgrade that...

Want to do the 3G ALT conversion

On mine I had to grind the 3 ribs behind the pulleys down for clearance, a spacer wouldn't work. rotor spindle is too short on mine. Wired like the preveiced post showed.
