    The other thing that I've noticed is, when it's idling it sound more advanced. But if you give it just a touch of throttle say about 1000 rpms. It sounds more normal.

    If you want a shorter filter try a 24069 it is a non conditioner type filter like the 24070 but it a little shorter might make changes a little easier.

    The newer superdutys have one. When I converted mine to hydro boost I stole one off a parts superduty. I mounted it to the radiator support just where it would get some breeze through the center hole in my turbo bumper
