eah, i absoutely love the OBS.
the brick nose has grown on me.
the slant nose is ok, but i would only own one in a SCSB.
now that would be a slick truck!
thats what im leaning twards for my next one.....
only problem is that i believe its gonna have to be modified.
ive never seen a diesel SCSB

I think you could get a shortbed with a diesel in 96 and 97. Before that, they were all long beds.

The mechanic down the street has a half-ton shortbed Dodge that he stuck a Cummins in. I'm the farthest thing from a Dodge guy, but I have to admit that little truck is pretty cool.....

Nah.... should have gone with a Slantnose Front end before you did the hood...... But, the Slantnose is my favorite body style...... So I am a bit biased.... but it needs the factory 83-86 Blue Oval Silver Grill!!!!!! LOL (I learned to drive in an 83 that looks just like oregon96psd IDI, same color and paint scheme (Victoria)..... I WILL have one again some day!!!!!!

I'm kinda guilty of dealing with this problem myself. Big Red is going to be the more functional version of my first truck... a red 88 f-150 5 spd short bed reg cab. Still miss that truck but getting this one on the road may finally put me on the road to recovery. My brother totalled it after I left home to go to school. :(

I have always like the brown on a truck/van. We had the 83 F-150 and an 85 E-150 and they were the same color... was not planned that way, just happened.

They were both this color.....

Like I said earlier, the F-150 looked just like oregon96psd's truck.
