is there that much difference between the three turbo setups y-pipes and down pipes?would ATS or HYPERMAX be any cheaper?just wondered if one of the other styles could be made to fit the early style banks kit.just wondered cause banks wants 250 to 360 bucks for a new one.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I have a Banks turbo kit here minus the Y-Pipe and Extension. Sucks doesn't it!!!!!!!! Someone from Idaho sent me pics & I took them to a few pipe shops to see what they would charge. They want more than Banks and aren't even shure they can get it just right.

well i have the y-pipe and down pipe it just looks like someone took a stock y-pipe and cobbed it together.it was working on the truck but it sure doesnt look like it flows very good LOL
i have the complete parts list for early style BANKS with the big sqaure box.
it lists the y-pipe for $258.89 but i'm sure its gone up.

Maybe you can try some flex pipe? I am not sure where you can get 2.5" but we use big stuff on our freightliners. Put it on and see what kind of boost and egt's you get. Everything could be just fine.
