What's your opinion? Should I part it?

I picked up this 94' yesterday in San Jose. It runs good, XLT, and the trans is new, maybe a year old. It was wrecked about 4 months ago, the ty rods, and center link is shot obviously, the tires are towed way in. No fram damage that I can see at all, now that I have just taken it apart. For sheet metal it needs a fender, core support, and bumper. It also needs the header panel, and one blinker. The grill and headlight surrounds made it through OK, and so did the hood. I have never done a core support but it looks easy enough. i would just need to round up the parts, adn I could have it back together in a day.

The down side is it has a salvage title now from the wreck, which wasn't that bad in my opinion, but what do I know. It has a gas engine to, which sucks. The rest of the truck is so nice though really, not a spec of even surface rust being here in Ca to. I know when I have it back together it is worthless, it has 325k miles, so maybe I should part it? What do you think?

One other thing, is an 85' core support the same as a 94'? I will be getting an older parts truck, and I was wondering if they were the same.

Core supports vary per body styles for head light bucket designs, and are either gas or diesel specific.

Here salvage titles don't mean squat other thaan cheaper insurance rates.

Ya, and if I fix it I won't sell it anyway so that isn't a huge factor. I guess the core supports are different then, both are super cab, but the old one is diesel, and this one is gas 460.

It has been smoked in, and has some burns, but it is not trashed. Doors are pretty nice also if you are thinking about going power.

I have decided to part this one since I have a gas rig already. I wish it was a supercab like this one, but I can't save them all. If you need want anything, and your are local let me know. Smal stuff could be shipped as long as it won't take 2 hours for me to get it off the truck.
