Running around town, mine reads 400.

When I get on level freeway and run 2500 rpm, mine runs 500-550.

I climbed a steep grade out of Pahrump yesterday running fairly hard and hit 700.

Mine runs about 550-600 cruising at 2000rpm on the interstate climbing a hill it will hit about 900 under hard throttle. And our trucks are pretty much the same as far as gearing and trans just different Turbo setups and you've got about 75k miles on me. .....

If the thermocouple is in the manifold, then 1250 is max safe for short periods of time, but 1100 is a safer sastained tempature if you need to climb a long mountian with a load 1100 would be safer

With the truck in my sig, I'm turned up two flats.

60mph- 500-600 *F
70mph- 550-650 *F

With a head wind on interstate, I have seen those increase by +100 *.

Hope it helps.

Thanks, I thought mine runs a little hot, what do you guys think? Running 70mph it will stay around 750* it was as high as 850* on a slight grade. Running 60-65mph it will be 500-650*. Pulling what we call mountains, hills for some of you guys, it doesn't take much to get it up to 1050-1100* at 65mph.

On my Moose pump'ed and injected F250 in my sig: 550-600 crusing down the highway at 70'ish. Rarely it will get up to 800 with a heavy foot on a steep hill. Driving through town, I see about 350-450 most often.

mine i can run 3200 rpm on highway and see 800 but you may have something wirinng going on to make it the way it is mine suddenly jumper up 200 one day and hasnt gone down but with key on and engine off it sits at 200 so look into a gauge issue first if you have concerns

500-700 on the highway depending on how hard I push it and how fast(no or light load) or 400-500 around town. If I step on it it will tick closer to 800-900 until the (no wastegated) turbo gives it some air.

My gauge seems to work correctly, the low end is 250* and it takes a little driving to get there.
