What is the value of my truck for private party sale?

Are you just trying to help on the qt and selling this private? I know some ppl who have raffled off cycles for charity stuff if you have someone with enough "social media presence" to get it rolling gets a lot of donations from ppl even if they don't actually want the item.

Yeah that what I thought. I am one of the marines I am good and so is the other.

It’s a real long crazy story. I had completely rebuilt another f250 and meet a marine at advance auto parts. He had a brain injury and was struggling. He owned this truck and the head gasket started doing the idi leak. He couldn’t drive it and I had my completely redone f250 needing to be put back together. I had him come over to my house and this marine is not a small man. So we traded straight up because he need a truck to just make it through.

Then while we were trading a raccoon crawled up in my garage. I asked him if he had something heavy and he had an old pipe. I hit the raccoon with it which cause a load crash. My wife (the Venezuelan with the shotgun) who saw this massive marine and not knowing what happened pulled our Remington 870 police and charged it and was coming through the door cause she thought me and this massive marine had gotten into a fight. She said she wasn’t about to let him come in her house.

So He got a completely redone f250 and I got this beast. He helped rebuild the top end and I had to move. We lost contact and one day out of the blue he calls.

Turns out he sold my other for s significant amount and I still had his black truck that need the list of things I have done.

He did mention that he had gotten some help with the wounded warrior and that when we meet he had not fully recovered from his injuries and there was a lot of people turning their back on him. He said what we did really helped him realize the brotherhood of the corps and would never forget it.

So in short I just wanted to see what would come from it knowing I wasn’t going to make a great bit of money but knowing that I helped a fellow devil dog keep pressing on the path instead of giving in.

I look at it this way having several generations of my family who have served FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and I hope noone here forgets this my brother isn't the same after several tours but is still enlisted and I try my hardest to help his stubborn ass when he needs because
1 he is my brother and I love him
2 he served his country and helped American people be free
3 he has done things for his country that have changed him from the person I know and grew up with

1. At the end of the day, 6.9 and 4-speed, single cab Nothing special. At least it's 4x4, which is worth something.
2. Crummy paint job, again, nothing special.
3. Interior isn't in great shape.
4. Still needs some work.
(I personally bought basically the same truck for $350, with it "not running"; drove it onto the trailer, advanced the timing and it ran fine).

Now, you might get more than that posting it in an area where there is snow, during snow season(now-ish). If someone needs a truck, they may pay more for it.

I don’t know about Georgia, but in the Carolinas with it being a diesel 4x4, he could easily get 4K if it’s not all beat up. If it was a F350 with the Dana 60, he could get at least 6k. That’s why I’m doing a 4x4 conversion becouse it will be so much cheaper!

You can’t hardly find a running gasser 4x4 for a grand unless it’s rusted out or has 300k miles!

I’m in Indiana, if I saw it on the side of the road for 3k I’d drive on by, 2300 I’d strongly think about it, might try to haggle because it needs tires and they ain’t cheap. If it had 1800 on the windshield I’d show up with my trailer or a buddy and ask if you’d take 1500 planning to meet in the middle somewhere but I’d definitely be taking it home. Dana 60 over a 50 and zf5 over t19 are huge selling points for me, might not matter to others

I'd say $2500ish. It's why I'm in no hurry to sell my 87 F250, it is worth about the same despite having more than twice that in it.

I'd have to invest an extra $100 minimum in new batteries (undersized $50 Walmart ones) to sell it, since I swapped the 3 month old, $200 pair of batteries to my 85 IDI motorhome. It had mismatched, weak batteries when I got it.

I already have way too much in this rotten old motorhome because I got suckered by the seller and I didn't take enough time to really look it over. The IDI with ATS turbo and newer RV appliances gave me clouded vision when trying to be objective. And it keeps needing more. But it's my full time home and will be for the next several years minimum, so it's like... i don't pay rent (except $48 heated storage and $50 Anytime Fitness for showers) so I figure I may as well be more comfortable since I am in this for the long haul.

At the end of the day, even with over $1300 in new brake parts/labor, a new set of 6 tires ($83 each), and lots more, its still only worth about $3000, and $500 of that is the Norcold fridge.
