Yeah modern pickups are crazy now. The duramax is 445hp, 910 lb ft, and paired to a 10 speed. I think the 6.7 Powerstroke is maybe a little higher in ratings. All of the big three have available tow ratings around 35k or so. That’s just trailer weight, combined weights will be about 50k lbs. The OBS 7.3 PSD in stock form is much closer to the IDI than a modern truck.
