local yard sold a guy a good runnin engine for 1250, has the leaky oil pan mod, and the miss all the time, yard says its just air in the line.
now why the heck can the yard get 1200+and I cant get 500 for a runnin one with new gaskets and glow plugs??

When pared with the Exhaust that came with the power pac system. Banks advertised about 65 HP gain.

On my wifes truck, I have the power pac aircleaner along with the Banks Y-pipe and a home made 4" exhaust and it does make a pretty noticeable difference. I don't know what the exact numbers are, but seat of the pants is measurable. Sounds good too. Carla wants a turbo, but doesn't want to lose the "sound".

Hmm, Tom, I bet your woman would at least kinda like the sound of a turbo whistling through that 4" exhaust. I also bet she'd be grinning ear to ear while driving it.
