My truck is getting a drive line vibration on acceleration, around 40-50mph. Does it on fast accelerations. It feels like it is far back like the carrier bearing. I replaced it this past summer though. I dont know if the transmission has anything to do with it. I dont think the transmission is down shifting like I want it to. I can slow down a bit but the transmission is still in to high of a gear. Kinda like the vibration you have when you try to take off in a high gear with a manual transmission. How do I tell if it is the carrier doing this or something else?

check the pinion nut is tight, check your pinion bearing play while you have the shaft loose. Then move up to checking the play in the center bearing. if it is good. then take your driveshaft to get it balanced. check for obvious dents in it.
