After doing my fuel injection service, new GPs and some drivetrain seals i finally put a tank of fuel through my truck. i got 16.3 mpg, very good with all things considered (35"s, heavy foot, lots of hills, etc...). it didnt miss a beat, runs like a bear and isnt all that bad to drive for a wun tun.

all in all i have to say i am liking this ol truck more and more everyday...not saying i didnt before because i absolutly did but it doesnt cease to amaze me that a brick moving through the air with big tires and a hot rodder behind the wheel can still pull 16 mpg.

id say with a little tuning of things (air pressure, finding the best cruise speed, etc...) and a couple of simple and easy mods i can get 18-20 mpg.

Yep you can get 20. I did it once. 200 miles 10.03 gallons. I have 315/75-16's on my truck so almost 35's. Right now though I am getting 10 mpg. I am also pulling somewhere around 13,000 lbs. 950 miles so far.

Good to hear the new additions are working well for you.
