unhooks obs wastgate? any advice?

i need some help on unhooking the wastgate on my 96 psd. where is it at? can i hook my boost gauge into it? pics would be great! thanks!

How many miles is on that engine? its awful dirty, the one in our 94 aint half as dirty and its got 233,***

288k. It's oil off of the turbo boots. I read about some mod that stops that. Can't member which one right now. Crank case vent mod I think. I'm gonna pull em off and clean em up and do that mod. This truck is most likely not going anywhere anytime soon so I got time all it will take is money(that I don't have haha). I'm hopefully gonna get all the valve covers turbo y pipe and boots cleaned up pretty soon. Gotta pull em off and do glow plugs before it gets cold out.

Probly be best if you replace them more than likely there leaking boost

If I can afford to I will. I think if I clean them up with some brake cleaner then rub them down with alcohol to get any moisture off I think they will seal fine. If not guess I'll try and get some used ones or new

Most the time when they get old they start to crack, if you pay close attention when you have them off look for cracks and if there are then they need replaced

slap you a 00 model turbo on that thing and intercool it

well my plans may of already changed. was talking today an a buddy of mine said it will bring close to 4k at the car auction so i may just take it and find out :sly id trade straight up for a mint condition idi turbo :D
