Speaking of the season, are any of you planning to buy your favorite diesel guzzler anything special for Christmas?

Yea, winter fuel SUXXXXXXXXXX

As far as what the stroker is gettin' for christmas......
It WAS to have been a set of babies and chip:D ............instead
it's gonna be $800 in tires, and I spent all day today doing upper and lower ball joints:mad: Those are stone ******** to do:moon:
Here's a tip passed on from my Jersey bud NJKen.........
Toss the new joints in the freezer and warm up the knuckle with a little heat.........:thanks: Ken:cheers:
I should have it back running tomorrow.

Besides, I bought the white womans Dodge some new headlights
...Silverstars:smoke:and polished up the lenses as well. It gets REAL dark out here in Neckville;)

Now if I can just get that boost issue resolved................

Janet Reno? Holy Cow, I thought it was a picture of you:shoot: LOL

What kind of tires are you putting on. I just slapped on a set of BFG All Terrain KO's and I think it was right in the $650.00 range.

I looked at them as those were what I had before but I couldn't find any 285"s less than $212 ea:eek: considering last Oct
-53k mi ago I bought them for $155 ea.
Wound up getting Wild Country XTX 285/75/16

Had them on my '90 IDI and got 50k+ out of them and they handle the wet clay we call grease around here pretty dam good!

Found a set of Nitto Terra grapplers 295's a local guy was selling
for $500 but they won't fit my stock alloy rims:(

295's are the biggest ya can squeeze onto the stock alcoa rims, ask me how I know;p ;p

Tried putting on a pair of 305's & they would not fit with any degree of comfort/safety.

THink I paid a tad over $800.00 for the BFG/AT-KO's & ifin I had to do it all over again, would look at the new Goodyear MT's. Have a friend who's got them on his Banks equiped Dodge and they really work well. The BFG MT pattern is not as "bold" or agressive & the sizes are not quite the same. While I liked the BFG MT's (285's) they just were not what I was looking for:sorry:
