Ferret are the style you clamp around the injector line and use a adj timing light. Fox Valley is the one you use the luminocity probe in the glow plug hole and a timing light hope this helps with the confusion.

No they are there own stand alone units

Don't let me undercut Al here, all I need is just the clamp itself no wiring if there is a spare. If not no biggie sounds like they are all part of a system.
