Texas won't allow a truck with duals like that to pass inspection. Has to have a dually bed for it to pass.

What is their reasoning for that? It is no different than having a flat bed w sides

I have seen many farm trucks around my area when I was a kid with a bed like this and a hay spear out back. I started to build my truck like that but use some fender flairs like a 1st gen dodge.
