Guess that's a hidden backup safety feature in case the hard to reach horn button is difficult to use :)

that IS a weird one :)

No, but when I hold my nose and try to sneeze, you get a sound much like a horn from...never mind!

My 2001 F150 will do the same thing. My 2004 F350 won't. Wondering if it sends some kind of short and makes the horn blow. Can't imagine it being a good idea. :(

Should work for everyone...yes, it's normal.

The Horn and Cruise Control buttons are part of a logic circuit of some kind (sorry, not an electrical engineer). It's all PCM controlled and holding those 2 CC buttons (which you wouldn't normally hold at the same time) presents the PCM with the same signal that pushing the horn button does...
