Do you have to raise it that high to get the rearend on the ground? Pulling something up on it like that looks a little scary. I would be afraid it might tip over since the only thing holding the front is the hitch ball on the tow vehicle.

No, not at all. I was just showing it goes that high since it's power up and power down. It's really stabile actually since there is no suspension when it's tilted. It's mounted at the ball and that's essentially a 7ft wide stabilizer at the ground.
