SuperDuty Seats

Anyone out there adapt some newer Super Duty seats into your truck? Guy I work with is selling a set - brand new never used - for $250. They're even the right color for my truck. Just wanted to hear from someone with experience how they fit into a 80-97 cab.

I've seen them grafted into an OBS truck, so I guess it can be done.

Just watch out for the ones with the integrated seat belt... The truck floor HAS to be reinforced to use that style of seat.

its been done, its a tight fit side to side, IIRC towcat actaully did it and posted pics.

HHMMMM. I currently have an aftermarket seat in the front of my truck that is super comfortable - just getting a little rough around the edges. And the mounting setup is a bolt on deal, so I made new ones to move the seat back and down. I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam (looong torso), so if the Super Duty seats are going to raise me up in the cab, the headliner will be messing up my hairdo.......

that goes away with age
