slow throttle response and stalls when return to idle

I use Marvel Mystery Oil 6oz for every 10 gallon of fuel, also filled fuel filter with it and started truck waited 15 sec and shut her off. I waited a day started her up and she runs great now. when my glow plugs do not light you can smell the Marvel Mystery Oil in the air lol. when I got my truck no one was able to get her started so she sat for two years. She blew White Smoke and quite running all the time. The Cure run ATF or Marvel Mystery oil through fuel filter like everyone said. I just use Marvel because $3.88 a quart and it burns like diesel. Someone once told me that on a truck with a lot of miles like mine 339,782 miles on it, the manual fuel pump even if new may not function properly because the libe on the cam that makes the lift pump work is probably worn and not getting the full strokes to lift pump.
