Is the rubber shift boot on the floor (zf5 ) a dealer only item, or is there another less painful source to get the things?

Thanks-------------Robert

Just happen to have my LMC catalog out. Page 44, part #40-1917, $59.95.

Don't know if that's cheaper than the stealership. I know a lot of LMC's parts come in Ford packaging, but are no longer available from Ford (buy out remaining stock). Unfortuantely, good condition used shift boots are hard to come by.

I know that's cheaper than the dealers here.
If it lists for $74, the stealerships around here will charge $90+ for it -cuss
Although it's a lot of cash for a $0.50 piece of moulded rubber and a mounting ring $59 sounds great ;Sweet

Thanks-------Robert
