Serpentine Belt Tension Indicater

This is for tension purposes only. I found this great picture of a serpentine belt tensioner that shows the tension gauge and pointer on the front of it. See the black sclae and the aluminum pointer. That pointer must be in the area of the scale for the tension to be correct. Too loose and its out to the scale. To tight and its again out of the scale. Loose is a long belt and tight is a small belt. We have several differant belt lengths available to us. Please don't ask what belt I run because I have a differant alternater than most have with a differant size pulley. Towcat did lots of research with the differant sizes of pulleys available to us. A smaller alteranter pulley means the belt is shorter and the alt spins faster.
